About our Full-Time School

The Dublin Academy of Education is a full-time school for 5th Year, 6th Year and Repeat Leaving Certificate students  based in a convenient, accessible and bespoke state-of-the-art building in Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. It has been established on the back of the success of The Dublin School of Grinds.

Since the inception of The Dublin School of Grinds, the founders knew that the success of the school would purely be built on the success of its students, and the great results they would need to get. And great results all start with one thing: great teaching. As such, it’s always been the mission at The Dublin School of Grinds to ensure only the highest teaching standard is provided. By sticking to this mantra over the last decade, the school has arrived at a point where it serves over 3,500 students on a weekly basis making it the most trusted provider of grinds in the country.

The natural next step in The Dublin School of Grinds’ journey is now establishing of a full-time school. The name of the full-time school will be ‘The Dublin Academy of Education’, or ‘The Academy’ for short. The existing grinds and other courses will continue to operate under the name ‘The Dublin School of Grinds’.

The most important aspect of The Dublin Academy of Education is that the entire teaching staff will consist of the same tried, tested, and most important of all, trusted team of teachers from The Dublin School of Grinds” – Chris Lauder – Founder

The Academy will redefine the standard for second-level education in Ireland by providing its students with the same teaching faculty, approach and environment that has made The Dublin School of Grinds such a success. Our approach is different, because we are different.

We believe that within every student, there is always the potential for increased achievement and we can unlock this potential by combining the best teaching faculty and approach with an academic and personal development environment that is centred on student needs and fosters strong physical, emotional and mental-health.

This will not only help students to achieve grades they didn’t think possible and overcome the challenges of the Leaving Certificate, but it will also equip them with the confidence, mind-set and skills to overcome challenges throughout their lives, realising their true potential, and getting the most from life.
